Phylogeny of Gentianaceae 
- matK and trnL intron results

This cladogram is based on matK and trnL intron DNA sequences (adapted from Struwe et al., 2002).  The 
numbers below branches indicate jackknife support values (100 is best). Additional ongoing 
studies have shown that several  genera (Centaurium, Gentianella, and Swertia) are paraphyletic 
(= do not form natural groups). [Data matrix]
